15062 is a thin deposit of darl-brown silty clay below the tile and stone accumuluation (15061) and covering the hearth (15064 & 15065) and cut/ fill (15068 & 15069) as well as earthen surface 15063 in sondage 4. The deposit may be a dispersed lens of charcoal from the hearth. We are interpeting as a use level.
