Interface soil layer beneath the tile collapse (SU 16005) and on top of more tiles. This layer only extends from the center of the quadrant towards the south end. This context was separated from SU 16005 because the tiles stopped appearing. Soil did not seem different to soil between the tiles in SU 16005 but it is difficult to tell because it rained during excavation of SU 16005. We found loose rocks in this layer. Towards the SW corner of the quadrant more stones have been revealed near the wall (SU 16010) which may be part of the collapse of the wall. (AK)
