2016-07-27 Marzuolo Archaeologist

Wall abutting 16037 in entryway of Room B- possibly connected to later 2nd c. CE restructuring of entry way in phase with large quadrated reddish conglomerates at ends of N-S walls which sit on top of pebbled surface, but did not excavate to bottom of wall. Built with two faces of locally sourced basalt stones and a rubble core with mortar as a bonding agent. Covered by collapse 16006 (RGV)
