Dark brown clay-ey layer beneath 18035, distinguished by less pottery and more orange and charcoal inclusions with specs of white fired clay. Frequentation of white common-ware after initial rare pottery inclusions. Other pottery inclusions remain rare. Find black glass in bottom of wall 18016 and at the same depth elsewhere in the layer, suggesting layer may be datable?
