This deposit represents a dump of material and can be equalized with 22012 since there are joins between ceramics found in the different SUs. We think that the dump - whose material is consistently 20 BCE - 20 CE - was deposited in the room from another location on site and used to raise the elevation of the floor in a second phase of use when, perhaps, the superstructure of the walls were rebuilt on the original stone socles. The dump was deposited on an earth surface 22013 and may have also been covered by an earth surface 22006. This SU likely equals 22071 in Area 21,000 Trench 5, which was placed in the NE corner of the same room.

Dump context of a mass of ceramic, glass, bone, and metal deposits, dumped across the extents of TR_22_23_2, and material from this SU fits with 22012, which implies that these two layers are part of a larger deposit of dumping material. -EAV
