This cut (SU 15024) is cut through a layer (15004) containing Medieval materials, and therefore represents a fairly late activity on the site. The cut is sub-rectangular in shape and it's bottom reveals a number of other SUs, providing a window through 15004 into the lower strata. The purpose of the cut is unclear, and it is not clearly associated with any nearby structures.
