The extent of this layer at the top was largely determined by the soil texture (color change was very vague). This SU seems to have very high inclusions of small tile fragments which also help to distinguish the context. Some of this seems to be baked clay. Possibly related to a firing event.

In the new extension of the sondage within the SU the soil progresses to a deeper orange brown color as you get deeper and the baked clay inclusions seem to increase with depth. There have been rare mortar clumps within the SU. There have also been greenish yellowish sedimentary rocks which were 50% of SU 15058, which was about a meter deep.
