Grey-ish brown strata sloping down N-S with a mix of med-small tile fragments and stone with rare ceramic. Context covers collapse and walls. Interface below plough soil and above collapse of structure. May have been partially removed by scraper in southern section where depth is shallower. Plastic found while removing; still in modern mix of top soil and interface.

Removal of 16009 revealed a yellow-brown sandy-clay layer 16011 sloping over 16004 from N to S, covering 16010 and the collapse in SW sector, as well as a dark brown friable strata mixed with frequent tiles and stones along W side of 16010, which is also covering 16011. The E limit of 16009 covered yellow-brown sandy-clay layer, an extension of 16011 in E sector.
