FEF: probably the same context as 17040. I (FEF) was not present for delineation of 17039 and 17040 but the context sheet of 17040 seems to describe 17039 as well. it is possible that the concentration of tiles in 17039 were less frequent at its surface but aside from that I don't know what the difference would have been. AK: Having checked the original photo of 17039 with RGV, there was a definite difference between 17039 in its original NW corner and 17040. 17039 was a thin orange soil matrix on top of 17040.
