2019-04-27 Rhodora Vennarucci

A light grey-brown deposit with frequent mortar inclusions. There are many pieces of large ceramic, including the base of a large vessel, possibly a small dolium. It is unclear what the purpose of this is. Perhaps evidence of abandonment before re-use of the room as a blacksmith's workshop. (Cf. cut and fill in Room A of 16000). Or could it be a storage area?
