North corner has ash-like soil but seems mixed with context instead of separate context. More materials in this corner than rest of trench. Context seems to go down at least 30 cm, possibly more. The north corner is slightly darker and maybe the result of a small fire. The blackened pottery and small charcoal inclusions may support this. Layer is about 40 cm deep from the beginning of the trench.
