Fairly compact yet friable silty clay, hard and fairly difficult to pick. Light brown when baked, but dark brown underneath when comes up in clumps. Frequent pottery inclusions: terra sigillata, utilitarian amphorae etc). Bronze tibula and nail, Rare tile and charcoal; medium bone.

Fibula, Bronze fibula, 9 grams, decorative lines on the bow, head and spring are corroded, pin is intact and corroded into place but not able to reach the clasp, 5.6 cm longest length, bow thickness= 0.4 cm, pin thickness= approx. 0.2 cm
