Terra sigillata found in the 3rd coursing of wall 18014. dates 18014 and contemporary 18018 to 1st AD, making 18011 and 18012 the earlier interior structure to the south west likely Republican. The soil is extremely compacted -Dora said it was comparable to the soil at RPP site. It is confirmed that 18018 + 18014 have 3 courses. Knocked off a stone from 18018 on the deepest course. Underneath could discern method of construction -packed in chunks of mortar, til and pottery for foundation.
