At approx. centre of quadrant there is one very large rectangular tile. On southwest corner at wall, there is a collapse of rocks. At the northern half of the context, there was a lot of ceramics and bone. In NE corner, there were some medium sized stones. We ended the context at the level of the large broken tile and these stones. In this layer, we found 2 pieces of burned terra sigillata of a dark red colour with some designs. Probably a large dish. Could be evidence of experimentation/innovation. (KP and AKOZ) Still some question about why the layer beneath 16030 seems to have an accumulation of stones and some tiles - Did people occupy an area with all this debris? (AKOZ) May be an abandonment of leveling layer. (RGV) May be equal to 16038 under surface 16031/16034 in NEQ. (RGV)
