Possible drain in phase with surface 17190 and blacksmith's workshop. Drain (17177) appears to be under collapse, but constructed over the surface (re-systematization in 2nd occupation phase?). Similar orientation to to other ditch drains found though this one a bit more carefully built with walls and stone cover (instead of a ditch filled with debris). Ends before pier 10060; may have cut end of wall 17020, but not found when excavating in area last summer, which is odd.
